...began more than 2 decades ago with the purchase of my first bloodhound, CH Trackside's Isabel Telemetrue. Since that time there have been many dogs come and (unfortunately) go through my arms. In 1993 I added Clumber Spaniels (nope, not hounds but they THINK they are!), Bruno du Jura, type St Hubert in 1999, and only this year have added Harriers, although I have been showing them for others for a number of years.
Puppies are doing well! Unfortunately we lost 3 a couple of weeks ago. I'm not certain what the cause was, as we didn't do a post-mortem. We have our suspicions that it may have been viral. Regardless of the cause they are sadly missed.
Sorry, no new pictures, but today our eyes started to open! They aren't "looking back" at me yet, but there is a little glint in the corner of the eyes on some of the pups. Tonight was also "Pedicure Night"! Certainly not an easy task! Try cutting 252 teeny tiny toenails on squirming pups!
As I'm sure you can imagine it was quite the production to get these pictures! For every one you see here I'm sure I took 10! They all have great noses and many of the shots were of them sniffing the blanket with their heads between their front legs! These were taken over the past few days and they turned one week old yesterday (hard to believe it's been a week already!). You will notice that there are 4 pups with the same colour collars. That is because there are male/female of each colour. I tried to stick with the Christmas theme and used appropirately coloured collars.
